Orchestral concerts at The Victoria Theatre
Originally built as a concert hall, the Victoria Theatre first opened in 1901 with a concert by the Halle Orchestra and many of the world’s finest orchestras have since appeared at the Halifax theatre. Renowned conductors and composers have given musical direction to symphonies by JS Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Dvorak, Brahms and many more.
In addition the Halifax Choral Society perform regular orchestral concerts including Handel’s Messiah and the festive favourite Carols and Brass.
